Draft for review
Privacy Policy
This placeholder is not a final lawyer-reviewed privacy policy.
About this policy
This page describes the intended privacy approach for the PKU service while the product is in development. It is a placeholder and requires final legal review before public launch.
Information we may process
The service may process account details, PKU Profile settings, daily tracking information, shared-access permissions, and technical information needed to operate and secure the service. We aim to collect only what the product needs.
How information is used
Information is used to provide the service, keep authorised devices in sync, support shared access, protect accounts, answer support requests, and maintain the reliability of the platform.
Data security
We design the service around authenticated access, server-side authorisation, encrypted transport, restricted administrative access, and audit records for sensitive support actions.
Data retention
Retention periods will be documented before launch. We intend to keep information only for as long as it is needed for the service, security, legal obligations, or a user-requested recovery process.
Your choices and rights
Users will be given appropriate ways to review, correct, export, or request deletion of their information, subject to applicable law and legitimate security or record-keeping needs.
Children and caregivers
A caregiver may manage a PKU Profile for another person. The product does not assume that every PKU Profile belongs to a child, and access is controlled through explicit Profile Memberships.
Third-party service providers
The service is expected to use carefully selected infrastructure and authentication providers. RevenueCat is planned as the subscription infrastructure in a future milestone. Provider details will be finalised before launch.
Contact
Questions about privacy can be sent through the Support page. A final privacy contact and legally reviewed policy will be published before launch.
